Recipe For Puppy Treats

Your puppy will love these tasty treats. If you give some as reward for correct behavior, they will provide the right motivation to encourage your puppy to persevere with his training.

Garlic Flavored Liver Treats

Ingredients

1-2 pounds/.05-1 kilogram liver (calves’, pig’s, or lamb’s)
garlic granules, powder, or minced garlic to your puppy’s taste

Method

Place liver in a pan and cover with water. Add garlic liberally according to your dog’s taste, and bring to a boil. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until soft. Cut the liver into tiny pieces and place on foil on a cookie sheet. Bake until hard in a moderate oven (about 300 F/150 C.) for up to 2 hours, or microwave on full power for about 12 minutes. Cool and then store in an airtight box.
